Wendy is the owner and Broker-In-Charge of A New Beginning Realty Group, LLC, located in Mt. Pleasant, SC. She has been a licensed Real Estate Agent for the last 19 years and has sold over $50,000,000 in properties in the Mount Pleasant and Charleston area.

 

Having moved to Mount Pleasant in 2002 from her home state of West Virginia, Wendy oversees the day-to-day operations of a New Beginning Realty Group and assists other agents in her office, whether it be through keeping up-to-date on real estate license law or negotiating difficult contracts, she is there each and every step of the way with you.

 

Wendy loves representing both buyer and seller clients, and her rave customer reviews reflect her passion. “I love to help buyers and sellers maximize their opportunities. For all of my clients, whether buyer or seller, I use my years of negotiating skills along with my added designations to get the maximum amount for my clients. For my buyers, I negotiate as much from a home for as little as possible, and many times, knowing the right strategy that wins in multiple offer scenarios.” As for her seller clients, she states, “correctly pricing the home is crucial, and when we agree on the price, we stick to it. Once we have an offer, I negotiate the deal, protecting my clients' best interest, while getting their home under contract in a short amount of time and generally top dollar for their investment.”

 

In 2023, after also having her mortgage loan originator license for 21 years, she decided to only focus on her real estate career and relinquished her mortgage license. She states, “Having been on the money end of a deal, I know the processes, the things that can go wrong, and the landmines to look out for. When my clients use me to list or buy their property, I become their personal air traffic controller throughout the entire process until we land the home at the closing !”

 

Wendy holds multiple special designations, which include Accredited Buyers Representative, Certified Negotiation Expert, and Short Sale and Foreclosure designations. She has been very involved with the local REALTOR® association, Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS®, and has taught numerous classes at the Association. She served on the Board of Directors for the Multiple Listing Service, was on the Professional Standards Committee, the local Grievance Committee, was Co-Chair of Broker Society, and was selected to participate in C.T.A.R.'s Leadership Development Program. Wendy is also currently a member of the National Women’s Council of REALTORS® and an East Cooper Top Producer.

 

Wendy currently resides in Mount Pleasant, loves all things food and wine, and attributes her success to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She has two children, a 17-year-old son, Cole, who enjoys all things gaming, and her 15-year-old daughter, Callie, who attends Wando High School. Wendy has a passion for empowering strong young women, especially the one that I am raising!
